Nylon cable glands secure and seal cables where they enter junction boxes, electrical enclosures and control panels. Made from moulded polyamide, these metric cable glands clamp the cable’s outer sheath to provide strain relief, helping protect internal wires and connections from pulling, twisting and vibration.
The internal rubber seal fits around the cable to help keep out dust, dirt and moisture. These IP68 cable glands have been tested at 4 bar pressure and operate within a temperature range of −20°C to +80°C. Each gland is supplied with a rubber washer and locking nut.
Lightweight and non-conductive, the nylon body provides an insulating cable entry component and will not rust. These plastic cable glands are a practical choice for general wiring, control equipment and low-voltage communication installations.
Choosing your cable gland size
M20 cable glands are a popular choice for many installations. We offer two options:
Both options have the same M20 × 1.5 thread and 15 mm thread length. M20L identifies the larger cable clamping range.
Measure the cable’s overall outside diameter, including its sheath, and check the enclosure’s entry thread before selecting a gland.
